This is Stone. The Melliferian cecropia silkmoth seen before but never properly introduced.
He's a long distance surveillance flier for the Amber Rust hive, he goes on flights of days or weeks when needed to collect information.
He habitually wears his training collar, from the days when he was too young to go on flights alone. Melliferians raise other insects for specific tasks, and they are raised by one specific individual who is responsible for them, and in charge of teaching them what they need to know for the job they'll have for the rest of their lives. To make sure he would be okay on his own, Stone had to wear a collar with a leash and his trainer would go with him on his flights. That's her number on his collar (since Melliferians, the worker bees anyway, have numbers, not word based names).
His trainer died before his training was complete. Others stepped in, but he insists his training was never actually completed and keeps his collar on, even though he's free to remove it now.
Also for the detail oriented: Yes he has a mouth siphon, even though silk moths don't have mouth parts. The non-bee Melliferian insects are all basically frankensteins created by their hive, and they make changes where the basic plan would be a problem. It'd be kinda pointless to have a critter that needed a few years to develop their intelligence that was going to die in a few weeks.
I don't know who you are. but I love you. I want to draw like you draw. I love the giant silk moths and the story behind your characters is fantastic! I assume at this point they are related. you are an increddible individual. this is so good.
I love the story behind this guy. Your Insect characters are very interesting! His eyes are great, and I love his fernlike antennae! Nice lightening effects on those.
I think you did a great job with the shading - nice purple shadows - and the highlight on his antennae look great! You can tell he's a boy because they're so fluffy! ^_^
