Haha, cool idea! You put so much detail into the fur and the leaves, and I like all the swirls. It is neat to imagine a forest of these guys, with a bunch of trees all running around. =P

No. The bonding process creates a magical system within the tree and that can't be done if there is a system already in place.
It has to be a blank slate with a solid wood core, and mobile trees not only have no wooden core, they naturally have a kind of magic system that isn't that different from a Dryad's tree.
