When I was little I had a blanket I loved very dearly. My grandmother made it for me and I named it, considering it 'male' and treated it as my friend. I was a pretty lonely child and this blanket was my best friend. I thought he was real and even now, sometimes wonder if my devotion maybe gave it some life. The blanket eventually just fell apart despite my attempts to keep it together and now resides sewn into a pillow (or what is left.) I plan to give it to my child.
Your Tully actually made me cry a little because my grandma is now lost to me and this blanket was my most cherished gift from her. Tully reminds me of my 'friend' and brought back so many great memories. Thank you.
