How do you manage painting in gimp? When I try to draw a quick circle or arc the line turns out really ugly (like small straight digital lines that make up a circle). Got any tips?

Ya know what this reminds me of? When I was a kid, one of my friends and I would do this thing where she would hang upside down and cover her nose and mouth so that, looking at her right-side-up with all her hair off her forehead, she looked like a noseless, mouthless alien with eyebrows under her eyes. That's what this looks like. lol
